Tribratanews.polri.go.id - The Head of Traffic Corps (Kakorlantas) of The Indonesian National Police (Polri), Inspector General Drs. Firman Santyabudi, M.Sc., explained that his party is ready to oversee the homecoming activities on Eid this year by holding the 2022 Ketupat Operation. Polri implored all of their personnel to prepare to secure in their respective area.
“Today, we gather and held a meeting with the managing directors. They will convey their orders to the officers in the field,” he explained in a written statement (24/3/2022).
“The orders are ranging from preparing information, preparing the people who will do the homecoming and the vehicles that will be used, to preparing us in this operation,” explained the Two-Star General.
Meanwhile, the Director-General of Land Transportation, Budi Setiyadi, said that people who want to do the homecoming should be vaccinated with the third booster first.
“This kind of momentum of Eid like this is truly challenging for us, but in the end, I am sure we can overcome it,” said Budi.
“I hope there is enough time for people to be inoculated with the third booster so they can go to their home safely,” he added.
