The Indonesian National Police (INP) has regained the public trust, according to a recent survey by Indikator Politika which shows a significant increase to 70.8%. This comes after the police force faced several incidents of institutional damage caused by some of its members.
M. Naqib Abdullah, the Chairman of the Indonesian Islamic Boarding School Student Executive Board, expressed that the survey is well-deserved by INP, highlighting the institution’s seriousness in addressing the issues it faced.
“INP’s commitment to resolving the problems they encountered is commendable,” he said on Sunday (26/3/23).
He attributed INP’s rise in public trust to the leadership of Chief of INP General Listyo Sigit Prabowo and his effective implementation of the “precision” slogan.
He further stated, “The Chief of INP’s decisiveness is the strongest indicator of the public trust increase.”
In his closing remarks, he hoped that INP will continue to perform at a high level and build upon their recent success to further increase public trust.
