The Purwakarta Police Chief said that the main target for the aids was farmers, to communities affected by the policy of adjusting subsidized fuel prices.
"This activity is a charity act in nature to help the people in need. Even though it is not much, this is the proof of our strong relationship and our sense of empathy for the community in responding to government policies for fuel price adjustments," he said, Friday (9/30/2022).
Furthermore, the Police Chief added that in distributing the rice, the Purwakarta Police deployed all officers to reach remote areas so that it was directly distributed to people affected by the subsidized fuel price adjustment policy.
In addition, the distribution of this assistance is to ease the burden on the community, especially those who are affected by the subsidized fuel price adjustment policy.
"The activity will continue to be carried out regularl," said the Purwakarta Police Chief.
The police chief hopes that this activity will bring benefits to the community, and also establish good communication in maintaining the security situation in Purwakarta Regency.
