The Chief Indonesian National (INP) General Listyo Sigit Prabowo is working closely with the Indonesian Military to track down the Armed Criminal Group (KKB) responsible for the recent attack in Nduga Regency. Speaking on Monday, April 17, 2023, in South Jakarta, the Police Chief confirmed that law enforcement is currently the top priority.
“We have deployed our personnel and taken steps in the field to enforce the law immediately following the shootings,” he said.
He stated that INP-Indonesian Military personnel will provide security to maintain public order and safety (kamtibmas) and ensure that the surrounding community is not impacted.
The KKB attack occurred on April 15, 2023, at 4:30 pm WIT, during rainy and foggy weather conditions
