INP Ensures Chief of Jambi Regional Police and Entourage in Maximum Treatment Bhayangkara Hospital

Tribratanews.polri.go.id – Jambi. Chief of INP General Listyo Sigit Prabowo ensured that the Chief of Jambi Regional Police, Inspector General Rusdi Hartono, and the helicopter group that had an emergency landing on Bukit Tamiai, Kerinci had all been evacuated. At present, all victims are being examined and given maximum treatment by the medical team at Bhayangkara Hospital (RS).

"Alhamdulillah, we have evacuated, and we will check one by one those who are being treated, of course, the team of doctors will take steps to deepen whether further treatment is needed," said the Chief of INP when stating at the Jambi Bhayangkara Hospital, Tuesday (2/21/23).

General Sigit said that the Bhayangkara Hospital would conduct examinations and treatment of the victims. However, if further action is required from the results of the examination, the victim will be taken to Jakarta for medical treatment.

Regarding the Chief of Jambi Regional Police conditions and other victims, General Sigit ensured that all of them were conscious. However, there were indeed those who experienced injuries and broken bones in their legs, arms, ribs, and other body parts.

"Currently a team of doctors is conducting a scan. The Head of Police Health and Medical Center will decide whether to be referred to Jakarta or treated here," he said.

Furthermore, the Chief of INP said that a total of six people were being treated at the Jambi Bhayangkara Hospital including the Chief of Jambi Regional Police. While two other people are in GOR Merangin. Later, the two people will also be treated at Bhayangkara Hospital after being flown in the next day.

General Sigit added that currently, the most important thing is to save the injured victims. After that, his party will evacuate the debris and the cause of the helicopter crash. He also ensured that the helicopter carrying the Jambi Police Chief and his entourage had been carrying out periodic checks, including when they were about to be used.

The National Police Chief expressed his appreciation, appreciation, and gratitude to all parties involved in the evacuation process. According to him, the evacuation process could be carried out thanks to the cooperation of all parties.
