Tribratanews.polri.go.id – Jawa Timur. The Chief of Indonesian National Police (INP) General Listyo Sigit Prabowo along with the relevant stakeholders visited Tanjung Perak Port to inspect the readiness of homecoming security and services at Tanjung Perak Port in East Java on Wednesday (19/04/23). During the visit, he also held an online dialogue with the officials stationed at the Port of Ketapang, Gilimanuk, and Padang Bai.

“We just finished inspecting and holding online dialogue with officials at the Port of Tanjung Perak, Ketapang, Gilimanuk, and Padang Bai,” he said in an official statement.

Despite a 10-15% increase in passengers, he reassured that all sea travelers will receive the best service from officials.

During his conversations with passengers, he revealed that weather and sea conditions were good. “The weather is good, and we had dialogues with passengers who reported that their journey was good with excellent services from officials,” he added.

He said that the number of travelers returning home this year has increased compared to last year’s figures. Nevertheless, he guaranteed that all officials will offer excellent services to ensure the safety and convenience of the public during their homecoming journey.

“I call upon all personnel on duty to work collaboratively in providing services because the number of homecoming travelers has increased from 2022. Therefore, even with the increase in numbers, we must ensure that the services for those who travel by ship are carried out optimally,” he stated.

One of the passengers expressed her gratitude towards him for the good journey and best services she had.

“Keep up the good work in serving, Sir,” said another passenger.
