Tribratanews.polri.go.id – Jakarta. The Chief of the Indonesian National Police (INP) General Listyo Sigit Prabowo has dispatched 23.000 travelers through the program called “INP Presisi Free Mudik” from Monas Square in Central Jakarta.

“We hope that this program will decrease the number of people who use private vehicles (for homecoming),” he said at the departure location on Tuesday (18/4/23).

In addition, the program also aims to reduce traffic congestion and the number of traffic accidents on the roads, and ensure that travelers arrive safely at their respective destinations.

Transportation Minister Budi Karya Sumadi commended the police for their efforts, from preparing for trips to reducing traffic congestion with free travel programs. He highlighted the police’s support and effective solutions.

“This is a great pleasure for us. The support of the police is extraordinary, not only today but since we conducted a survey. What was done today was mandated by the President and the Chief of INP during the meeting, which shows that they have a good grasp of the problem and provide effective solutions,” said the Minister.
