The Head of the South East Kalimantan Regional Police (Kapolda Kaltara), Inspector General Daniel Adityajaya, S.H., S.I.K., M.Sc., accompanied by the Main Officer of Polda Kaltara and Bhayangkari Polda Kaltara visited, as well as guiding the Malinau Police (Polres Malinau) personnel.
Upon arriving at Polres Malinau, Kapolda Kaltara was greeted by the Head of the Malinau Police (Kapolres Malinau), AKBP Reza Pahlevi, S.I.K., followed by a traditional welcoming procession of Tidung plain flour and Lundayeh Dayak Traditional Dances.
On this occasion, Kapolda Kaltara gave directions to all Polres Malinau personnel to maintain good their performance. Moreover, Polres Malinau has an important role in representing the Indonesian National Police at the border with Malaysia.
“I am happy to be here with all members of Polres Malinau. It is a long journey to get here. Polres Malinau represents the Indonesian National Police and Polda Kaltara at the border with Malaysia, and that is a great honor," said the Head of the Kaltara Police.
“Malinau Regency is one of the entrances for the perpetrators of smuggling crimes. For this reason, it is necessary to anticipate this with selective priorities," explained Kapolda Kaltara.
The Kapolda also emphasized to all personnel, especially Polres Malinau personnel, not to violate the law and get involved with drugs. "We are law enforcers, we know the law, law enforcers must not violate the law, if you still do it, then you must be ready to be punished," said the Two-Star General.
Kapolda Kaltara also reminded all personnel to always maintain their health, and remain disciplined in health protocols. All Polres Malinau personnel must be vaccinated, especially since the pandemic is not over yet and a new epidemic has entered Indonesia.
Before closing his remarks, Kapolda Kaltara also motivated Polres Malinau personnel.
"The border police must perform well and have high integrity. Maintain border security and social security, don't disappoint the people's trust, and personnel who excel will get their rewards," concluded the Kaltara Police Chief.
