South Kalimantan Police Highlighted the Illegal Mining in South Kalimantan

Tribratanews.polri.go.id - Banjarmasin.  South Kalimantan Police Chief, Brigadier General Andi Rian Ryacudu Djajadi, highlighted the alleged rampant illegal mining in South Kalimantan. According to him, the South Kalimantan Police Chief has received a report from his personnel, regarding illegal coal mining.

However, regarding the rampant illegal mining or mining without a permit in South Kalimantan, the former Director of General Criminal Investigation Unit of National Police ensured that they would immediately study and develop this issue.

It is known that the impact of this illegal mining practice have harmed the environment in South Kalimantan, while also causing loses in state revenue from mining taxes and royalties.

In addition, the South Kalimantan Police are currently conducting an investigation regarding the cause of the landslide that caused the road in Satui Barat Village, Satui District, Tanah Bumbu Regency, blocked.
