Aceh Police Chief, Inspector General Ahmad Haydar, during his speech at rally in Aceh Police HQ, Monday (10/31) morning, conveyed the importance of communication skills to new police students that are still studying at Polri educational institutions such as SPN or others.
"Communication skills is important for the police candidates who are being educated at the National Police Education Institute, because this communication skills can be useful when they finally become the full-fledged police officers in serving the community," explained the Aceh Police Chief, quoted from rri.co.id.
His reasoning behind the importance of communication skills is because the task of the Police in general is more in touch with the community, it is necessary to impart communication knowledge to Police candidates.
According to the him, currently, what is taught at the National Police Education Institute for Police candidates, is generally military science.
The Aceh Regional Police Chief explained that by being armed with an understanding of communication science, it will be easier for the police when carrying out their duties in the field, for example when conducting patrols.
Head of Public Relations of the Aceh Police, Commissioner Winardy, added that the Aceh Police Chief in his speech told his personnel to always work professionally, proportionally, and sincerely in serving the community, so that they could give a sense of comfort to the community.
