Ahead of Christmas and New Year Eve, Indonesian National Police will ensure all of their police members to be prepared in preventing criminal actions and terrorism during that time of year, especially after the incident of Astana Anyar bombing a while back.
“For sure we will anticipate and prevent act of terrorism during Christmas and New Year Eve. Currently, we are still waiting the security and operation strategy from Police Operations Assistant,” said the Head of Public Information of Indonesian Police Public Relations Division, Commissioner Nurul Azizah, Monday (12/12).
She stressed that almost all vital objects and places will be the focus of police in securing it from terrorism. Those vital objects and places includes, places of worship, tourist attractions, government offices, and shopping centers.
