Ditlantas Polda Metro Jaya stated that there was a downward trend in vehicle mobility in Jakarta during the implementation of level 3 restrictions. The data was obtained from a number of monitoring done by the authorities.
"In the past few days we have seen a decrease in traffic volume and this can be seen in two ways one of which is from Google Mobility. There is indeed a sharp decline in the index in the workplace, recreation areas, then in public transport and so on," explained the Regional Police Director of Traffic (Dirlantas) Polda Metro Jaya Commissioner Sambodo Purnomo Yogo, Friday (18/02/22).
He also adds There is a downward trend in vehicles entering Jakarta from buffer cities, such as Bekasi, Tangerang, and Depok.
In addition, this downward trend in vehicle mobility is thanks to the restrictions in public places to school-from-home policies.
"There has been a decrease in shopping places, malls with restrictions level 3 regulations which not allow small children to enter, of course, there is also a decrease in the number of visitors," explained the Intermediate Officer of the Polda Metro Jaya.
