Tribratanews.polri.go.id - Palembang. Deputy Chief of Police of South Sumatra, Brigadier General Rudi Setiawan, directly opened the Meeting of Community Development Function on Wednesday, October 12th, 2022.
This activity was held in the main building of the South Sumatra Regional Police and was attended by the Main Officials of the South Sumatra Regional Police.
Brigadier General Rudi Setiawan, said that the purpose of the meeting was to deal with various potential threats of social security disturbances in the South Sumatra region. For this reason, it is necessary to solidify the police units and build smooth cooperation with all elements of the community and private and government agencies.
"You are the frontliners of the society and the one who guards the public safety and security by carrying out your duties based on the existing legal basis," said the Deputy Chief of the South Sumatra Police as quoted from Mitrapol.com, Wednesday (19/10/2022).
Community Development is a unit that its duty is carrying out preventive measures which includes community policing activities, public order and coordination activities, supervision and guidance on the form of Pam Swakarsa, as well as collaborative activities in securing public safety and security.
"The National Police will continue to improve education for the community and increase routine police activities," said the Deputy Chief of the South Sumatra Police.
