Tribratanews.polri.go.id - Bandung. The West Java Regional Police have instructed the resort polices in West Java to anticipate the impact of the planned increase in Pertalite and Diesel fuel prices, Friday (02/08/22).
West Java Police Head of Public Relations, Commissioner Ibrahim Tompo, explained that the instruction was a directive from the National Police Headquarters.
"In accordance with the direction from headquarters, the Police Chief has ordered the ranks of regional unit to monitor the social dynamics of the community so that social order could be maintained," said the Head of Public Relations of the West Java Police.
Commissioner Ibrahim Tompo, said that all police stations must also monitor the situation in their respective region if there are irregularities in the regulation and distribution of fuel.
Previously, the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) Arifin Tasrif stated that the price of subsidized fuel oil (BBM) would soon increase. The signal was implied when asked if there was a possibility of an announcement of a fuel price increase being made on August 31, 2022.
However, until the expected date, the government has not announced any increase.
