Tribratanews.polri.go.id — Bali. The National Police Chief, General Drs. Listyo Sigit Prabowo, together with the Main Official (PJU) of the Indonesian National Police held a rehearsal for the security operation of G20 Summit in Bali, Sunday, November 6, 2022.
"Today we are carrying out several series of activities, from holding a rehearsal to prepare for the security rally since this morning, then after that we review the venues which will be used in the summit," said the National Police Chief at Garuda Wisnu Kencana (GWK), Bali.
In addition, the National Police Chief also coordinates with the Presidential Security to ensure security points are divided into three security rings. With this direct coordination, the National Police Chief wants to ensure that all security elements understand their respective duties and responsibilities.
"We are sure that the whole series of security, especially those carried out by the Police and also the Indonesian Army can run well. In the future, we hope that the entire series will run safely," said the former Police Criminal Investigation Officer.
Furthermore, the National Police Chief said that the National Police would dispatched their personnel at each border point in both East Java and West Nusa Tenggara. At the entrance points to Bali, said the National Police Chief, CCTV cameras are also installed which are equipped with face recognition.
“So that we would have a list and data of the people who came to here. And this, of course, will be evaluated furthere so that then everything can go well,” he explained.
In his visits to Bali to ensure the security of the G20 Summit, the former Banten Police Chief has also coordinated with related ministries. The goal is that they can collaborate in the command center made by the Police.
"So that the entire community or visitors both from outside and from within the country can all be monitored," said the National Police Chief.
