Earthquake Rocks the City of North Sulawesi

Tribratanews.polri.go.id – Sulut. An earthquake measuring 5.4 magnitude rocks Melonguane city om North Sulawesi. Fortunately, the earthquake has no potential for a tsunami.

The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) reported the earthquake on Saturday (5/11/22) at 22:35 WIB.

The epicenter was described as having a depth of 10 km, 6 km southeast of Melonguane. The scale vibrations are said to be felt in the Talau Islands.

Reporting from CNNIndonesia.com, BMKG advised the public to be careful of possible aftershocks. So far, the BMKG has stated that this earthquake has no potential for a tsunami.
