tribratanews.polri.go.id - Unpleasant feelings were felt when Indonesia's professional football competition, Liga 1, entered its final round. Not from inside the field, but from the outside of the field, when the Indonesian National Police (Polri) announced the flow of funds to several League 1 clubs, are from fraudulent investments trading robots, Viral Blast.

One of the clubs that got a big sponsor, and put the Viral Blast logo on its costume is Madura United, and now they were forced to remove the logo from their oversized jersey.

Not only the funds but the club of Madurese pride was also managed by a high-ranking Viral Blast official, Zainal Hudha Purnama, who had been identified as a suspect by the Police. Of course, this case has tarnished the world of Indonesian football, which is actually trying to get back on its feet after a hiatus at the start of the pandemic last year.

Moreover, it was also rumored, that apart from Madura United, other several clubs also received sponsorship from Viral Blast.

According to sports industry observer Rahmat Edi Irawan, the Viral Blast case should be a lesson for the world of football and the world of Indonesian sports as a whole. Football clubs or the sports industry still have to be careful about the money they receive.

"They still have to be wise in collaborating with third parties, or accepting the person who will enter the management of a club or sport, so as not to make it difficult for them in the future," said Rahmat Edi.
