First Day of Emergency Imposition of Restrictions on Community Activities, National Police Chief and National Armed Forces Commander Reviewed Mass Vaccination for Age 12+ at Gelora Bung Karno Stadium

Tribratanews.polri.go.id – Jakarta. The National Police is seriously contributing to the handling of COVID-19 pandemic in Indonesia. Various efforts are being made to suppress the spread of Covid-19, including accelerating vaccinations to guarding every government policy in dealing with the Covid-19 pandemic.

This time, the National Police Chief, Police General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, together with the National Armed Forces Commander, Marshal Hadi Tjahjanto, and the Governor of Jakarta Metropolitan Anies Rasyid Baswedan, visited the Bung Karno Stadium (GBK) in order to review the implementation of the mass Covid-19 vaccination aged 12 years and over, Saturday ( 07/03/21).

In his statement, the National Police Chief said as many as 20,000 vaccinations were targeted for Saturday (07/03/21).

"The target achieved is around 20,000 vaccinations that will be carried out at Bung Karno Stadium by involving National Armed Forces and National Police's personnel. Three hundred twenty peoples are members of 80 vaccinator teams," said the National Police Chief.

In addition, the National Police Chief, along with the National Armed Forces Commander, also motivated the health workers on duty and held several dialogues with the community who were carrying out the COVID-19 vaccination.

On that occasion, the Indonesian National Police Chief and the National Armed Forces Commander continued their visit to vaccinations and isolation points to many locations to ensure that the implementation of the EmergencyImposition of Restrictions on Community Activities was safe and smooth.
