Football World Saddened by the Tragedy of Kanjuruhan

Tribratanews.polri.go.id -  The tragedy that befell in Kanjuruhan, Malang, Indonesia was felt by the whole community of football around the world. After the tragedy many big time players and clubs in the world conveyed their condolences in their social media account.

“To people in Malang: ‘TURUT BERDUKA CITA’. Bangkit Bola #Indonesia #RIP,” wrote former striker of Germany, Lukas Podolski in his Twitter account.

Condolences were also conveyed by Liverpool legend, Michael Owen. Owen sent messages of condolences to the victims on social media. This English football legend said he was shocked to hear the sad news that happened at the Kanjuruhan stadium, Malang.

Owen is not the only Liverpool legend who has conveyed a message of condolences for the Kanjuruhan tragedy, Ian Rush also conveyed his message of condolences.

Condolences also came from Manchester United legend, Wayne Rooney. Wazza admitted that he was very sad to know the heartbreaking incident in Kanjuruhan.

Likewise, deep condolences poured in from the world's big clubs over the events at the Kanjuruhan Stadium.

On Sunday (2/10), the five Premier League giants, Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester United, Manchester City, and Tottenham Hotspur, expressed their condolences in their official social media account.

Not only the big clubs from England, but big clubs from Spain, such as Barcelona, conveyed their condolences to the tragedy that had happened in Kanjuruhan.

“FC Barcelona is pained by the tragic events at Kanjuruhan Stadium in Indonesia and rejects all acts of violence both on and off the field. Our heartfelt condolences go out to the families and friends of the victims,” wrote FC Barcelona in their official Twitter account.

Condolences also came from other top Spanish clubs, Sevilla and Atletico Madrid, as well as sending condolences via their official Twitter accounts.

Likewise, the Italian Serie A League and the Italian giant club, Inter Milan, also expressed their condolences.

Meanwhile, the Dutch Eredivisie champions, Ajax Amsterdam, also sent their condolences via social media. Ajax condemns violence that occurs in football matches.
