The National Police Chief, General Police Listyo Sigit Prabowo, have enforced the law and code of ethics for the death of Brigadier J. This statement was told by a Member of Commission III, Nasir Djamil at Hearing Meeting (RDP) with the National Police Chief on Wednesday, (24/8/2022) .
“The National Police Chief had enforced the law and code of ethics. Right now, the Chief is still assembling the puzzle of the death of Brigadier J,” said Nasir.
Nasir emphasized that the police working as in accordance to the facts, not because of desires or biased. Nasir Djamil also saw that the National Police Chief had already taken two crucial steps, which is enforcing the law and code of ethics.
“Sir, I want you to give the justice that personnel deserves,” hoped Nasir.
He explained that in that case, there are several personnel who hinders the investigation process and helped the perpetrators killed Brigadier J.
“They have their own play in that case, and their punishment should be assessed according to how deep their involvement were,” said Nasir.
But he also reminded the reason why those personnel took part in that violations, because they could have been under the influence of threat.
