The Directorate of Cyber Crimes, National Police Criminal Investigation Agency joined in a special team along with BIN and BSSN to deal with cyber attacks from hackers, Bjorka.

"The Cyber Police Team has joined in an integrated team with BIN and BSSN," explained the Head of the National Police's Public Relations Division, Inspector General Dedi Prasetyo, when confirmed on Tuesday (13/9/2022).

Previously, regarding the cyber attacks on government agencies, the Head of the Public Relations Division of the National Police explained that the Police were still waiting for reports from parties who felt aggrieved. However, until now the Police have not received a report related to the data leak.

However, as a follow-up effort to deal with these cyber attacks, the National Police have joined a special team formed by the Government. The special team was formed during an internal meeting chaired by President Joko Widodo and attended by the Head of BSSN, Lieutenant General TNI Hinsa Siburian, Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs, Mahfud Mahmodin, and the Minister of Communication and Information, Johnny Gerard Plate, at the Presidential Palace, Jakarta, Monday (12/9).

The internal meeting was held a few days after the alleged leak of letters and documents for President Jokowi on the internet. The hacker, Bjorka, claimed had hacked President Jokowi's correspondence, including letters from BIN. The claim went viral after a Twitter account called "DarkTracer: DarkWeb Criminal Intelligence" uploaded a screenshot from Bjorka that letters and documents to the Indonesian President, including a letter sent by BIN with a secret label, had been leaked.

Meanwhile, on Monday (12/9), the Head of BSSN asked the public to remain calm regarding the alleged data leaks that have occurred on the internet recently. The reason, according to Hinsa, so far no electronic system has been disrupted in the midst of widespread allegations of data leakage. On the same day, Mahfud MD also responded to this and ensured that the data leak was not related to confidential. Johnny G. Plate also said the same thing by calling the data owned by Bjorka were just a general data.
