Tribratanews.polri.go.id - The educational program at school has not been going well in the Puncak area due to the actions of the Armed Criminal Group (KKB) who set fire to school buildings in Puncak Regency.
Responding to that Issue, the Community Development Task Force of Cartenz Peace Ops went to the Puncak Regency to help Education Regional Department Office in providing education to the local children, Saturday (8/20).
The activity, which was led by Ipda Yan Amos Wambraw, said that the task force still continuing their effort in educating the children of Illaga District to learn the basics of learning such as reading, writing, and counting. They don’t want the children of Illaga being left behind because they cannot go to school.
“We hope that through our continuous program, they could read, write, and counting, so that when they can go to school again, they can follow the teaching and learning process easily," said Ipda Yan.
During the program, they teach the children while also having fun. However, they also make sure that what they have tought can be understood and remembered by them.
"The children seemed very enthusiastic in the activity, it could be seen from their cheerful laughter, especially when they were given gifts when they could answer the questions given by us," said Ipda Yan.
Meanwhile, Head of the Public Relations of Cartenz Peace Ops, Commissioner Ahmad Musthofa Kamal, said the Pi Ajar Police activities aimed to make the children become enthusiastic in learning and also to establish a strong relationship between the children and the police.
