Chief of Public Relations and Press Division of Indonesian National Police Commenting on 2021 Ketupat Operation: Traffic Accidents are Still Happening in Many Areas

Chief of Public Relations and Press Division of Indonesian National Police, Police Inspector General Raden Prabowo Argo Yuwono, issued some statements related to implementing the 2021 Ketupat Operation. Pieces of data and information are issued related to that annual centralised operation.

In his statement, the Chief of Public Relations and Press Division of Indonesian National Police stated that there are still traffic accidents. "Enforcement and traffic accidents are implemented and occurred in some areas", Chief of Public Relations and Press Division of Indonesian National Police said.

"There were 106 accidents. 11 people dead, nine people are heavily injured, and 133 people are mildly injured. Meanwhile, material loss reached Rp74,750,000", Chief of Public Relations and Press Division of Indonesian National Police continues.

Furthermore, the Chief of Public Relations and Press Division of Indonesian National Police also stated some conventional cases during the homecoming prohibition period.

"Besides violations and accidents, Indonesian National Police also reports 175 conventional crime cases. From those cases, 11 people are arrested, 38 people are jailed, and 260 people are scouted", Chief of Public Relations and Press Division of Indonesian National Police concludes.
