Chief of North Sumatera Regional Police and Pangdam (Military Area Command) I/BB Expressed Their Gratitude as the Re-Voting in Labuhanbatu was Conducive

Tribratanews.polri.go.id - Medan. The re-voting (PSU) for Regional Head Election (Pilkada) of Labuhanbatu Regency went safely, conducive, without any disturbance. The safe situation cannot be separated from the participation of community leaders, religious leaders, traditional leaders, youth leaders, Indonesian National Armed Forces, Indonesia National Police and local governments as well as election organizers who work together to make the re-voting process successful.
As a form of appreciation, Chief of North Sumatra Regional Police, Inspector General Pol. RZ Panca Putra Simanjuntak together with Pangdam I/BB Maj. General Hasanuddin, expressed his gratitude to all the people of Labuhanbatu Regency who kept the situation during the re-election conducive.
Even though the situation is conducive, the Chief of North Sumatra Regional Police said joint personnel from the Indonesia National Armed Forces and Indonesia National Police are still securing the vote counting area until the vote recapitulation process is complete.
"Without the participation of religious leaders, community leaders, traditional leaders, and youth leaders, who participate in maintaining conducive situation, the implementation of re-voting will certainly encounter many obstacles. However, the re-voting can be passed and run smoothly without any interruption. Therefore, we would like to thank all those who have contributed to the success of re-voting. From our observations in the field, the community is quite enthusiastic about giving their voting rights by visiting 2 voting places (TPS), that are TPS 009 and TPS 007, which organized the the re-voting," he explained.
According to Chief of North Sumatera Regional Police, whoever the candidate for the regional head, they are the best person resulted of the direct election.
“I hope this will be the last re-voting. I hope public will accept the re-electio result," he concluded.
