Preventing Street Crimes, Metro Jaya Police Launched “Ada Polisi” Apps

Tribratanews.polri.go.id -  Metro Jaya Police launched the 'Ada Police' application to suppress the number of street crimes that happened in the capital city of Indonesia. Police stated that street crime never goes away and it even tends to be more varied, and stated that legal approaches are not really effective in reducing street crime.

The Metro Jaya Police Chief, Inspector General Mohammad Fadil Imran, explained, this application is an innovation from his institution as an effort to transform it into a much more modern that is oriented towards prevention.

"With digital technology, accompanied by real action in the field. This application is said to be a form of prevention that utilizes technology, and can further help police service to the community," concluded this two-star General.
