Tribratanews.polri.go.id - In order to support the quality of the community’s well being, the Cartenz Peace Operational Community Development Noken Task Force of the Nduga Region gave medical services at the Nduga Police Headquarters, Thursday (7/4).
The Noken Task Force held one of their prominent program, Keladi Sagu, which aims to give and maintain the health of the general public in Nduga Regent.
Head of Noken Medical Team on Nduga, Ipda. dr. Marten Bhara, M.A.R.S., said that the Indonesian National Police (Polri) would continue to intensify the Keladi Sagu program in Nduga with the hope that in the future it can reach all communities, especially those on the outskirts.
"Now Polri is conducting the Keladi Sagu program, which will continue to be carried out in several places so that all people can feel the benefits of this program from the Noken Task Force," he said.
In that program, Noken Task Force provided health services to people who were sick by doing initial examinations and providing medical treatment to ease their pain
"We found several people who complaints they feel unwell, then they were examined to receive further medical treatment," explained dr. Marten Bhara.
In the end, dr. Marten Bhara said Noken Task Force will continue to provide their best service to the community, especially to those in remote areas of Nduga which are constrained by distance and transportation.
Head of Public Relations Cartenz Peace Operational, Commissioner Ahmad Musthofa Kamal, S.H., confirmed the free health service by Noken Task Force in the Nduga region.
"We hope that in the future the Noken Task Force can do their service in the remote areas so that the health services can be evenly distributed to improve the quality of public health," he said.
