INP and BPS to Implement One Data Indonesia

The Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) visited the office of the Public Relations Division of the Indonesian National Police (INP) on Friday (24/2/23) to discuss cooperation in the organization of data and information. The BPS and entourage were welcomed directly by the Head of the Public Relations Division of INP Inspector General Dedy Prasetyo.

During the meeting, the Head of Public Relations and Legal Affairs of BPS Margaretha Ari Anggorowati emphasized the importance of the role of ministries and institutions in achieving One Data Indonesia.

“To implement one Indonesia data, cooperation and collaboration between stakeholders, including between BPS and INP, are crucial,” she added.

She explained that BPS collects data that is used by both the central and local governments, and collaborating with the police could enhance their efforts.

In response, the Head of the Police Public Relations Division expressed his support for BPS’s initiatives and highlighted that the police will always support the activities of the BPS, including the implementation of One Data Indonesia.

The collaboration between BPS and the INP is a significant step toward realizing One Data Indonesia. It emphasizes the need for synergy between government institutions and ministries to achieve the President’s vision of organized and streamlined data and information.
