As a form of transparency, the hearing on the Police Professional Code of Ethics (KEPP) by the Police Code of Ethics Commission (KKEP) against Ferdy Sambo was attended directly by National Police Commission (Kompolnas).
This was conveyed by the Head of the Public Relations Division of the National Police, Inspector General Dedi Prasetyo, after Ferdy Sambo's ethics trial at the TNCC Building, Police Headquarters, South Jakarta, Friday, (26/8/22).
"During the KEPP trial process, the Indonesian National Police Commissi attended as a form of transparency, objectivity and accountability of the Police," explained the Head of the Public Relations Division of the National Police.
The trial, which lasted for nearly 16 hours, decided that the collegial collective decided to impose three sanctions on Ferdy Sambo, one of which was Disrespectful Dismissal (PTDH).
The other sanctions are ethical sanctions which Ferdy Sambo's act of killing Brigadier Yosua Hutabarat alias Brigadier J is a disgraceful act and administrative by putting FS in a special security place for 20 days.
On the other hand, the Head of the Public Relations Division of the National Police expressed his gratitude to the public who paid more attention to overseeing the performance of the special team (timsus) formed by the National Police so that this case could be revealed in accordance with the facts.
"This is the commitment of the National Police Chief so that the special team works in a transparent, objective and accountable manner," concluded the Head of the Public Relations Division of the Police.
