Anticipating Disturbances During G20 Summit, Police Dispatched 131 Security Personnel

Tribratanews.polri.go.id - Bali of National Police Operations Control Brigadier General Endi Sutendi, said personnel had conducted patrol on South Kuta at around 21:00 WITA. The patrol was aimed to ensuring a safe situation during the G20 Summit.

In the statement, the one-star general said that the patrols were carried out as a form of preventive measures to minimize security disturbances during the Summit.

"We hope that this patrol will further strengthen the security situation during the Summit. We will show that security officers are always ready and alert," said General Endi Sutendi as quoted from detik.

The former West Sulawesi Deputy Chief of Police reminded the patrol unit the importance of thei duty because the good reputation of Indonesia and their institution is on the line now.

The former Head of Public Relations of the South Sulawesi Police also revealed that the medium-scale patrol activity began at night until morning at 06:00 WITA. Then, this preventive activity will also be carried out during the day.
