Anticipate the Impact of High Fuel Price, Riau Island Police Conducts Large Scale Patrol

Tribratanews.polri.go.id -  Responding to the high prices of fuel oil in Saturday (9/3), the Riau Island Police Chief carried out various preemptive, preventive and also repressive or law enforcement activities in the region. This was stated by Head of Operations Control of Riau Island Police, AKBP Yudhi Wiratama, Monday (9/12).

“Today, the Riau Island Police held a large scale patrol to gas stations in Nongsa, Sukajadi, and Engku Putri, to anticipitethe impacts of the high price of fuels,” said AKBP Yudhi Wiratama.

In addition, this activity also aims to prevent the occurrence of hoarding of fuel which can lead to fuel shortages in Riau Islands Police.

"We urge you to remain calm, because all policies taken by the government have been thought throughly, through many considerations, and certainly also for the best interest of the community," explained AKBP Yudhi Wiratama.

It should be noted that as a measure in dealing with the increase in fuel prices and maintaining the wheel of economy in the community, the government has prepared social cushion programs, wage subsidies, and government programs that can reduce the burden on the people affected by the fuel price adjustment.
