Anticipating Scarcity and Increase of Drug Prices Until Availability of Oxygen, Police: Criminal Charms will be Sanctioned for Violators

The National Police continues to contribute to overcoming the COVID-19 pandemic in Indonesia, one of which is by ensuring the availability of medicines up to oxygen. This was conveyed directly by the Chief of the Criminal Investigation Agency, Pol. Commissioner General Agus Andrianto.

Ensuring the availability of oxygen and medicines as announced by the Minister of Health, said the Police Chief of Criminal Investigation Agency. This was conveyed when carrying out online jump apers by the Indonesian Ministry of Health, Saturday (07/03/21).

In this case, the Chief of Criminal Investigation Agency conveyed that the police had held a coordination meeting (Rakor) to determine anticipatory steps that occurred during the Java-Bali or Micro Emergency Imposition of Restrictions on Community Activities. "The Indonesian National Police Team has coordinated in order to formulate steps to encourage support for Emergency Imposition of Restrictions on Community Activities as well as follow-up for Micro Imposition of Restrictions on Community Activities which are currently still running in all regional police," said the Indonesian National Police's Chief of Security Maintenance Agency.

The former Indonesian National Police's Chief of Security Maintenance Agency also conveyed several articles that could be imposed as sanctions for hoarders and those who sold them not following predetermined rules. "Specifically for the law enforcement task force, the Indonesian National Police Chief has directed the ranks to formulate a method of action and articles that have been coordinated with the Prosecutor's Office so that if something is expected, what the Coordinating Minister said is selling at a higher price, we will enforce the law," Said the former Chief of Security and Maintenance Agency.

"Intentionally hoarding to disrupt public safety, we will enforce the law," closed the Chief of Criminal and Investigation Agency, Indonesian National Police.
