Tribratanews.polri.go.id - The Head of Traffic Corps (Kakorlantas) of the Indonesian National Police (Polri) Inspector General Firman Santyabudi confirmed that his party was ready to hold the 2022 Ketupat Operation ahead of the 2022 Eid homecoming. These remarks came when he attended a meeting at the JW Marriott Hotel, Embong Malang, Tegalsari District, Surabaya City, East Java.
Inspector General Firman Santyabudi implored all personnel to prepare to secure in their respective area. The operation will start from the people’s homecoming preparation to the preparation in conveying the information to the society.
“Today, we gather and held a meeting with the managing directors. They will convey their orders to the officers in the field. Things like conveying information, preparing the people who will do the homecoming and the vehicles that will be used, to preparing us in this operation will be prepared thoroughly,” explained the Two-Star General.
Meanwhile, the Director-General of Land Transportation, said that he was sure that the police can carried out this duty, as was seen from previous Eid and other holidays.
“This kind of momentum of like this is truly challenging for us, but in the end, I am sure we can overcome it,” said Budi.
Budi Setiyadi said that people who want to do the homecoming should be vaccinated with the third booster first.
“I hope there is enough time for people to be inoculated with the third booster so they can go to their home safely,” he added.
