Tribratanews.polri.go.id-Ambon. Maluku Regional Police distributed twenty sacrificial animals to be slaughtered during 2021 Eid al-Adha (Sacrifices Fiesta). The handover took place in the courtyard of the At Taqwa mosque, Maluku Regional Police, Tantui, Ambon City, Saturday (07/17/2021) ).
Dozens of sacrificial animals were handed over to the administrators of mosques and Muslim foundations in Ambon City. Consists of 18 calf and 2 lamb.
Symbolically the animals were handed over by the Maluku Regional Police Chief, Pol. General Inspector Refdi Andri, through the HR's Chief Bureau, Pol. Grand Commissioner Muhammad Yusup.
In the handover of the animals, several of officials and the organising committee for the sacrifice fiesta of the At Taqwa mosque of the Maluku Regional Police were also present.
We have handed over twenty of animal to the administrators of mosques and Muslim foundations in Ambon who submitted a request proposal to the Maluku Regional Police, said Head of Public Relations of Maluku Regional Police, Pol. Grand Commissioner M. Rum Ohoirat.
Head of PR hopes that in the implementation of the slaughter of sacrificial animals later, it can be done by implementing health protocols. Such as maintaining distance, wearing face masks properly, washing hands with soap, staying away from crowds and reducing mobility.
"Because this is during the Covid-19 pandemic, we urge that the slaughtering can be carried out later according to health protocols or there will be no crowds," said the Head of Division.
