tribratanews.polri.go.id - A public order and safety (Kamtibmas) personnel from Gadingrejo Police, Pringsewu Police, Andriansyah Yuga Saputra received an award from the Regent of Pringsewu, because of his attention toward the Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME)
The award was handed over directly by the Regent of Pringsewu, Hi Sujadi to Andriansyah after the commemoration of the 13th Pringsewu Regency Anniversary ceremony, at the field of the local district government office, Sunday (3/4).
The award was given as an appreciation for the performance of Andriansyah, who has been concerned with improving the community's economy in the MSME sector. He formed the Omah Tawon Mataram (OTM) group, which is the only group that cultivates Trigona Itama wasp to produce honey in Pringsewu, which is located in Pekon Mataram, Gadingrejo, Pringsewu.
Andriansyah Yuga Saputra said he was happy and did not expect that his actions would get the attention of the government.
According to him, he did it with the sole purpose of improving the economy of the community in his fostered area.
"I am very happy, even though I and my friends at OTM would receive the attention from the government," he said.
He was proud that the honey bee cultivation that he built with the locals was going quite well and could improve their economy
"Of course, this is very good because, in addition to improving the economy of the residents during the pandemic, the existence of this cultivation can be an educational tourism object for the community," he explained.
Pringsewu Police Chief, AKBP Rio Cahowidi said that the Kamtibmas personnel is the spearhead of the Indonesian National Police in fostering the community to reduce the disturbance in society.
Other than carrying out its main duties, Kamtibmas personnel is also expected to be able to innovate and collaborate with all elements of the community in their respective regions, to be able to create something positive and beneficial for the surrounding community.
According to the Pringsewu Police Chief, Bripka Andriansyah has several achievements, apart from co-founding Omah Tawon, he also established the Bhabin House, and the formation of the Gupit Telaga Tourism Awareness Group (POKDAR) which is located in Pekon Mataram, Gadingrejo District, Pringsewu Regency.
