West Papua Police Held Social Security Service and Provide Trauma Healing to People of West Moskona District

The West Papua Police's Petik Bintang Task Force provided health education, social services, and trauma healing to the Meyerga community, West Moskona District, Teluk Bintuni Regency, Sunday (10/16).

The Community Development Director of West Papua Police, Commissioner Bagijo Hadi Kurnijanto, said the government, through the West Papua Regional Police, will provide education and guidance to the people in Meyerga so that they would not be provoked after the attack by unknown individuals some time ago in the area.

"We provide education by playing some games and to children at the age of 4 to 10 years, and also hold social services for the affected community after the attack by unknown individuals a few weeks ago," explained, Commissioner Bagijo Hadi Kurnijanto.

He explained that the activity was aimed to calm the community while also giving a sense of safe and secure to communities affected by the attack.

"The activity held by the Petik Bintang Task Force aims to calm and provide a sense of security to the community, who were affected by the murder of the trans Bintuni-Maybrat road workers," he explained.
