Tribratanews.polri.go.id - Denpasar.  Indonesia cooperates with the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in eradicating the infectious disease tuberculosis (TB).

This collaboration is contained in a memorandum of understanding (MoU) between the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN) as, Chair of B20, and a company from the UAE on Monday, November 14, 2022 in Bali.

The signing of the MoU was witnessed directly by the Indonesian Minister of Health, Budi Gunadi Sadikin.

"This collaboration is an important milestone in building Indonesia's capabilities through technology and knowledge transfer, as well as utilizing best-in-class solutions to improve Indonesia's health ecosystem," explained Budi Gunadi Sadikin as reported by Liputan6.com, Tuesday (11/15).

In an effort to eradicate tuberculosis, the company from the Middle East will develop a health center with an Indonesian company. The targeted company is a strong company capable of competing internationally.

The Indonesian companies are those who leads the way towards transforming health in the private sector and experience in genome sequencing and data analysis.

Previously, the UAE stated that it was committed to helping Indonesia in preventing tuberculosis. Indonesia themselves has received health funding to prevent this infectious disease.
