The Traffic Corps of National Police have mapped more than 27,000 locations that will be the focus of Christmas and New Year Eve security operations.
Banten Police stated that they will employ around 1,300 personnel for Christmas and New Year Eve security operations. The thousand personnel will be scattered to various locations, especially in locations that will be the main focus of the operations.
It was stated that the rally of Christmas and New Year Eve would be held on Friday (12/23).
The Head Ops of Banten Police, Commissioner Dedy Suhartono, explained that there would be more personnel that will join the security operations from related security parties.
“From us, we will deploy around 1,300 personnel. Then there will also personnel from TNI and other involved parties,” explained the Head Ops of Banten Police, quoted from inforadar.id, Wednesday (12/14).
He also confirmed that the security operations rally would be held on Friday (12/23). However, the police still would do initial security measures, due to the assumption there would be an increase in traffic ahead of December 23, 2022.
