Indonesian National Police (INP) is ready to secure the 2024 election in four Papua new provinces, namely South Papua, Central Papua, Papua Mountains, and West Papua.
INP Chief Spokesperson Inspector General Dedi Prasetyo said that the police have been preparing to secure the 2024 election in those new provinces. The police have also arranged reserve forces to maintain security and public order in the area during the election, he added.
"The headquarters is ready to support security and public order to the utmost, if needed,” he concluded.
