Traffic Law Will Be More Assured, Metro Jaya Police Officially Adds Another 11 ETLE Mobile

Metro Jaya have officially employed another 11 Electronic Traffic Law Enforcement (ETLE) Mobile. The 11 cameras will be installed in 11 car patrols to enforce the law on the streets. The car patrols will mainly operates in streets that are not covered by static ETLE cameras.

“ETLE Mobile could ensure the community in gaining legal certainty that is fair in the streets,” says Head of Metro Jaya Police, Inspector General Mohammad Fadil Imran, quoted from kompas.com, Tuesday (12/13).

In enforcing the law, ETLE Mobile will record traffic law violators where it’s data and informations related to the violators will be send to the back office of Metro Jaya Police Traffic Directorate. After verifying the data, police will then send the letters to the address of the violators.

Initially, General Listyo Sigity Prabowo, have instructed all Traffic Police not to do any manual ticketing anymore, but instead emphasizing in the use of ETLE.
