Bali Police Ready to Secure G20 EWG and LEMM

Tribratanews.polri.go.id - Denpasar. The Bali Police is ready to secure the G20 Employment Working Group (EWG) and G20 Labor and Employment Ministers Meeting (LEMM). The security of this event was marked by reviewing the qualified personnel at the ITDC Nusa Dua Area Parking Center, Monday (12/9/2022).

The review was also attended by the Regional Leadership Coordination Forum of Bali and all the Main Officials of the Bali Police. In this security, the Bali Police held a police operation with the codename Operation Gapura Agung X-2022

In his opening remarks, the Head of the Bali Regional Police, Inspector General Putu Jayaan Danu Putra, said that the EWG and LEMM are interrelated events organized by the Ministry of Manpower to discuss the economic and social aspects of a policy related to employment.

"The EWG meeting will be attended by 20 senior officials from G20 member countries, four senior officials from four permanent G20 observer countries and two senior officials from two international organizations," said the Bali Police Chief.

"Meanwhile, the LEMM meeting will be attended by 20 ministers of manpower from 20 member countries of the G20, four ministers of manpower from four permanent observer countries of the G20, five ministers of manpower from five countries that chair regional forums, seven leaders of international organizations and five heads of G20 engagement," he continued.

Inspector General Putu Jayaan Danu Putra, also said that the Gapura Agung X-2022 Operation would last for four days, starting from 12 to 15th September 2022. In this operation, the Bali Police, supported by reinforcements from the National Police Headquarters and related stakeholders, will deploy around a thousand personnel.

"This review is the final check on our personnel and infrastructure before being deployed to the field," said the Bali Police Chief. "This is also our way in unifying our perceptions regarding the Police SOP and how to act according to the operational plan," he continued.
