Indonesian Police Visits Policia Nacional de Timor-Leste to Prevent Transnational Crimes

Discussing the matters of preventing the Transnational Crime in the border area of Indonesia-Timor Leste, the Head of East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) Police, Inspector General Johni Asadoma,, visited Policia Nacional de Timor-Leste (PNTL), Saturday (12/10).

In his visit, he was accompanied by Regional Inspector, Director of Security Intelligence, Director of Special Criminal Investigation, Director of Drugs Investigation, Head of Profession and Security division, Belu Police Chief, Kupang Police Chief, TTU Police Chief, Malaka Police Chief, and Sikka Police Chief.

“Our visit is meant to held a coordination meeting with Indonesian Embassy in Dili, PNTL, and NTT Police to discuss about information exchange and prevention of Transnational Crime at Indonesia-Timor Leste border area,” says Head of NTT Police Public Relations, Commissioner Ariasandy, Saturday (12/10).

He then says that upon the arrival of NTT Police Entourage, the Head of PNTL, Commissioner da Costa and other high officials of PNTL, greets them. The visit ends with the NTT Regional Police Chief handed over plaques and souvenirs and signed a document of honors and took a group photo.
