To uncover the tragedy that happened in Kanjuruhan, a team of investigators from the joint investigation team of the East Java Police and the Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police had examined 29 witnesses. Head of the Police Public Relations Division, Inspector General Dedi Prasetyo, said that the examination materials for the 29 witnesses included technical matters, such as preparation for the implementation of matches, security, to contingency and emergency plans.
