Ahead of December Holidays, Police Urged Not to Use Loud Exhaust

To secure the situations around the area during Christmas and New Year Eve, police urged the people not to use loud exhaust in their cars or bikes.

To monitor the situation around the area, Sidoarjo Police was dispatched around workshops and patrols are targeting young bikers who gather over the weekend, Saturday (12/17).

Wanoayu Police Chief, AKP Samad, said that bikers who use modified loud exhausts are disturbing the community, especially during Christmas and New Year Eve, and implored not to use it.

“First, what we are doing is to implore and socialize bike workshops or to the youngsters about the loud exhaust. If they did not heed this message, then we will act against them,” he says.

Moreover, people are also asked to comply with the traffic laws and health restrictions. “Your own safety must be the priority and let’s make this holiday a safe ones,” says AKP Samad.
