Tribratanews.polri.go.id - Special Detachment 88 of the National Police has secured a State Civil Apparatus (ASN) suspected of being in a terrorist network. The ASN arrested has the initials of S and works as a teacher at the Gunung Sekar State Elementary School, Madura, East Java.
This was confirmed by the Head of the Sampang Police, AKBP Arman. According to him, the suspected terrorist was arrested around the Trunojoyo Monument area, Sampang City, on October 13th, 2022. Then, a search was carried out at S's home on Merapi street, Rongtengah Village, Sampang City.
“The evidence that we have secure are books containing terrorists and radical ideologies. At this time, the suspect has been brought by the Densus 88 Anti-terror Team to the National Police Headquarters," said the Police Chief, in East Java, on Sunday (10/16) night.
AKBP Arman admitted that he did not know that the case of S’s terrorist network was under the authority of the National Police Headquarters Team. The Sampang Police only helped provide security, for the execution directly led by the National Police.
