Tribratanews.polri.go.id - West Papuan Police Chief Inspector General Daniel Tahi Monang Silitonga explained about the deployment of the Indonesian Military and INP personnel to secure the visit of Vice President Ma’ruf Amin to Manokwari on the celebration of 168th anniversary of the Spread of the Gospel in Papua.
“We are fully prepared. The regional police office, the district police offices, and the police precincts are ready, as are the military command and its branches,” he said as quoted from Antaranews.com on Tuesday (31/1/23).
Prior to the visit, the military, INP, West Papua provincial administration, Manokwari regency administration, and related church groups held a joint meeting to welcome the vice president.
The meeting addressed the mobilization of thousands of citizens to Mansinam Island to participate in the celebration.
