Tribratanews.go.id - Jakarta.  President Jokowi ensured that Indonesia was ready to welcome the guests and held the G-20 Summit in Bali on November 15-16, 2022. This assurance was conveyed by the Head of State after reviewing a number of places that will be used as the location for the G-20 Summit, Tuesday (8/11).

"It's already D-7, and I have reviewed the preparation to its minute details. I have checked everything. And hereby I said that we are ready to welcome our honourable G20 guests," said the President, quoted from pmjnews.com, Tuesday (8/11).

The President conveyed that until now there have been 17 heads of state/heads of government who have stated that they will attend the G20 Summit in Bali. Among them are President of the United States Joe Biden and President of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping. Meanwhile, regarding the presence of Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, they are still considering the situation and conditions in their respective countries.

"A few days ago, I also got on the phone, spoke on the phone with President Putin and President Zelensky, he said he would be there if conditions allowed," explained the President.

The President emphasized that the presence of heads of state and heads of government at the G20 Summit in Bali this time was an honor for the host, given the unfavorable world conditions.

"I think in a normal condition it's normal for 17-18 representatives to attend the Summit. But at this time of uncertain situation, where the world is in its crisis, it’s difficult for all G20 members to attend the forum. And if the attendance reaches that number, I think it is very good," explained the President.
