Tribratanews.polri.go.id - September 28, 2022, marks the fifth anniversary of the arrival of two giant pandas from China, Hu Chun and Cai Tao, at Taman Safari Indonesia Bogor, West Java Province.
In the past five years, the two giant pandas have become a new bridge between Chinese and Indonesian people, said Ambassador of China to Indonesia, Lu Kang, at an event celebrating the anniversary.

The Ambassador visited Taman Safari Indonesia Bogor on Monday (26/9/22). In his speech, the ambassador stated that he was very happy to see the two giant pandas growing healthy and enjoying life in Indonesia, as well as bridging the friendly relationship between the Chinese-Indonesian people and also encouraging cooperation between the two countries in various fields.
"I hope that China and Indonesia will further encourage the conservation of the giant panda and other endangered animals, and jointly maintaining global biodiversity," said Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of Indonesia, Lu Kang.
Meanwhile, the Director of Biodiversity Conservation of the Indonesian Ministry of Environment and Forestry, Indra Exploitasia, introduced several steps taken by the Indonesian government in preserving biodiversity and commended China's efforts in related matters. Indra also called for further cooperation between the two countries to protect wildlife.
