Tribratanews.polri.go.id - The Dharmasraya Resort Police secured two people suspected of abusing subsidized fuel oil (BBM). The two suspects were known from Jorong Taman Sari and Ganting, Dharmasraya.
“The joint forces have arrested two suspects of abusing the subsidized fuel oil,” said the Head of Public Relations of Dharmasraya Police, Ipda Marmawi. He also revealed the two initials of the suspect which is K (52) and DF (40).
He then explained further that K was arrested by the personnel of Sitiung Police in Jorong Taman Sari, Dharmasraya.
“He was arrested because of suspected abusing the subsidized fuel oil of Solar. He hoards the solar in his yard illegally,” said Ipda Marmawi.
Ipda Marmawi further explained that K got the solar from DF. “In conducting their crime, they bought the solar subsidized by the government, then the solar was used for industrial needs, while also resell it with higher prices," he said
“This is part of the commitment of Dharmasraya Police Chief in implementing firm laws against the perpetrators of fuel abuse,” said Ipda Marmawi.
Then, for the two alleged perpetrators who were arrested, they were charged with Article 55 of Law Number: 22 of 2001 concerning Oil and Gas which was amended in Article 40 point 9 of Law Number: 11 of 2020 concerning Job Creation with a threat of six years. prison.
