Tribratanews.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Metro Jaya Police no longer imposes manual fines on traffic violators. However, police officers will still be deployed at several location points, especially if traffic violations are found. Rather than giving ticket to violators, the police will only warn the traffic violators.

"We are carrying out appeals to drivers who still violate the traffic laws," said Head of Traffic Directorate Maintenance Services of the Metro Jaya Regional Police, Police Commissioner M Agung Permana, quoted from tvonenews.com, Sunday (11/20).

Commissioner M Agung Permana explained that police officers are actively appealing the drivers on the road who violate the traffic laws from 14:00 WIB.

It was informed that there are three locations where the police had deployed their personnel, namely the Hotel Indonesia (HI) roundabout area, the Kuningan red light, and the Pancoran red light.

He hopes that with this warning, people would be more aware with the importance of obeying the traffic rules that have been set.
