Hundreds of Criminal Actions Thwarted During Operation Sikat Toba 2022

The North Sumatra is carrying out Sikat Toba Operation 2022 with the aim of securing the situation in the region ahead of Christmas 2022 and New Year Eve 2023.

The Head of North Sumatra Police Public Relations, Commissioner Hadi Wahyudi says that the operation have revealed and disclosed various criminal actions after a week being operated. He revelaed there are 161 criminal actions with a total suspects of 211.

According to the data received, there are nine cases of robbery, with 12 suspects, three wanted people, and one criminal location. There are also 122 theft cases, with 142 suspects, 43 wanted people, in 25 criminal locations, with 25 pieces of evidence. While for bike theft, there are 39 cases with a total suspect of 56 people, wanted people 17, with a total criminal location of seven.

"For the case of burglary, the case was successfully uncovered by arresting one suspect, as well as one unit of evidence," said Commissioner Hadi Wahyudi in his statement on Sunday (12/11).

The Sikat Toba Operation is expected to suppress and prevent criminal actions in society ahead of Christmas and New Year Eve 2023.
